Forest School hours are from 9.00am - 3.00pm, Monday-Friday.
15-hour funding

The fees with funding are as follows:
2 days - £85 per child.
3 days - £125 per child
4 days - £190 per child
All funded sessions include an additional fee to enable your child to have access to the highest standard of Early Years Education and care, delivered through a Forest School approach.
Experiences not covered by Early Years Funding Entitlement include:
Our unique natural setting
High ratio of highly qualified adults to children
Regular trips out into the community and involvement in local eco projects
Weekly music sessions
Resources, tools and apparatus to provide rich and memorable learning experiences
Vegan snacks and seasonal fruit twice daily
Seasonal campfire cooking

30-hour funding
Please note we do not offer the 30-hour funding. If you are eligible for 30-hours you may be able to split your hours with our setting and another setting providing the other setting is registered to receive the 30 hours and is also a private setting.
Childcare vouchers
We accept Childcare Vouchers. Please let us know the name of the provider.
HMRC Tax Free Childcare
Forest Grove Hackney is registered with HMRC Tax-Free Childcare.
With Tax-Free Childcare, you set up an online childcare account with HMRC for your child.
More information on HMRC Tax Free Childcare:
For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15/30 hours funding, if you’re eligible for both.
Waiting list fee
The fee for securing a place on the Kindergarten waiting list is £50. No guarantee of a place at our nursery can be made.
We will ask you to indicate your preferred days, however, we cannot guarantee which days of the week will be available.
The fee is non-refundable.
There is no fee to join the waiting list for the Nature Club (for 2 year olds). More info
Enrolment deposit
On finding your child a place, we request a £250 deposit. Once we have received payment of the deposit, your child's place is secured.
The deposit is refundable once your child leaves the nursery, subject to providing both:
A minimum of 2 months notice in writing
Full payment of fees
If for any reason you are unable to take up the place once the enrolment deposit has been paid, the £250 deposit is not refunded.

Registration fee
We will receive a back-pack on your child’s first day which is included in our £65 registration fee.
This fee is non-refundable.
Weather closure fees
Should Forest Grove need to close due to inclement weather, the fee will be reduced to £35.00 per day per child.
This is due to Insurance Providers not covering nurseries in the event of a further closure. If you are receiving the 15 hour funding, the funding covers this fee (in which case there will be no changes to your fee).

Admissions
Forest Grove's main intake is in September, with add hoc in-takes throughout the year.
Families registered on our waiting list are offered places first, with priority given to those requesting a place for two days or more per week. In the interest of diversity and equality we always strive to maintain a gender balance in our cohort, as well as a representation of varying cultural backgrounds, and these factors will always be considered when looking at intake.
We understand that we offer something unique and have found demand very high. We do our best to accommodate everyone and allocate on a first-come first-served basis. However, priority will be given to:
Social Service referrals
Children already attending the setting and requiring additional hours
Siblings of children already attending the setting
Children on our waiting list
Diversity and equality
Children requesting two days or more
Children of employees
